Terms and conditions for booking and payment of tent pitches at Lyths Familjecamping

These terms apply between Lyths på Nordkoster AB and the person who, personally or through another party, books/pays for a tent pitch at Lyths Familjecamping.

The person making the booking/payment is referred to as the “Customer” or “guests” in these terms.

The provider is referred to as “Lyths på Nordkoster AB”, “Lyths Familjecamping” or “We”.

The booking/payment applies to the rental of a tent pitch at Lyths Familjecamping.

Customers/guests at Lyths Familjecamping are required to follow the campsite rules.

The full campsite rules are available at lyths.se/familjecamping/trivselregler.

Customers/guests who do not follow these rules may be removed from the area.
No refunds will be given in the event of a material breach of contract by the customer.

Booking and payment

To book and pay for a tent pitch on the website boka.lyths.se, the customer must be at least 25 years old, to ensure a calm family campsite.

Payment requires a bank card or Swish.

Payment is made directly at the time of booking.

Booking of tent pitch

The price includes rental of the tent pitch as well as a booking fee of 75 SEK (booking fee only applies during high season).

The pitch is booked from 12:00 to 12:00.

The tent must be packed down no later than 12:00 on the day of departure.

There are no marked tent pitches and therefore it is not possible to book a specific pitch.

Tent placement takes place upon arrival within the designated area.

A minimum distance of 4 meters must be maintained from other tents and at least 2 meters from paths.

Tents must be placed within the designated area.

By booking a tent pitch, the customer confirms that they have read and understood:

  • The campsite rules
  • The information about the tent pitch

Payment / Booking confirmation

Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, it must be checked to ensure that all details are correct.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the information is accurate.

The booking confirmation is sent via email.

In case of errors, Lyths Familjecamping must be contacted within 7 days of receipt, but no later than 48 hours before arrival.

If the booking is made manually and a payment link is sent via email, it must be paid within 7 days, otherwise the booking may be cancelled.

All prices are stated in SEK and include VAT (12%).

Cancellation of tent pitch

Cancellation can only be made via the link in the booking confirmation.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before arrival will be refunded, except for the booking fee.

No cancellation protection is offered.

The customer is responsible for ensuring cancellation protection through their own insurance.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival are non-refundable.

Responsibility for property / damages

The customer is responsible for obtaining necessary insurance such as liability, accident and travel insurance.

Lyths Familjecamping is not responsible for damage or loss caused by third parties, nor for forgotten belongings, unless the damage is caused by negligence on our part.

Other obligations and campsite rules

The customer undertakes to:

  • Take care of the tent pitch, nature and facilities
  • Follow rules and instructions
  • Ensure that accompanying guests do the same

Use of personal data

Lyths Familjecamping processes personal data in connection with booking and administration of the stay.

We use Hamnsystem Sverige AB as system provider.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Lyths Familjecamping may, if the customer has consented, send information and marketing via email or SMS.

Breach of contract

This is an agreement between the customer (the booking party) and Lyths Familjecamping.

The agreement is terminated with immediate effect if:

  • The terms in this document are not fulfilled
  • The customer/guests behave in a disturbing manner
  • The customer/guests cause damage

In the event of a breach of contract, the customer/guests must leave the area immediately.
No refunds will be given in the event of a material breach of contract by the customer.
In case of damage or disruptive behavior, Lyths Familjecamping may claim compensation.

Disputes

Any complaints should first be addressed to us.

If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the case may be reviewed by ARN – The National Board for Consumer Disputes.

We follow ARN’s recommendations.

Force majeure

In the event of war, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics or other events beyond our control (force majeure), Lyths Familjecamping may terminate the agreement.

The customer shall be notified as soon as possible.

A refund will be made for the amount paid, with deductions for the benefit already received by the customer.

Lyths Familjecamping is not responsible for any consequential costs such as travel or other external expenses.
